Andy Murray – Kim Sears wedding date fixed

Andy Murray, the Scotland tennis star, is all set to tie the knot with his fiancee Kim Sears on April 11. According to reports, the ceremony will take place at Murray’s Cromlix House hotel, which is quite close to his home town Dunblane, located in central Scotland.

The couple has been together for ten years and they got engaged last year. Murray, a Wimbledon and US Open champ, purchased Cromlix House for £ 1.8 million in the year 2013. Since then, it has undergone a grand refurbishment program.

The ex country house has been transformed into a fifteen room luxury hotel that has its very own chapel as well as a restaurant that is overseen by Albert Roux, legendary French chef. In the year 2010, it arranged the wedding ceremony of Murray’s tennis-playing older brother Jamie and Alejandra Gutierrez. Murray was the best man at that wedding.

Previous month, Jamie said that he had not yet been told to return the favor by being the best man at Andy’s wedding. Murray and Sears, both 27, are believed to be arranging a private wedding ceremony at Cromlix, with no deals with magazines. Just family members and close friends will be invited.

Their wedding date has been confirmed days after he lost his final match against Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open final.

During the Australian Open, Sears created some controversy with her swearing during Andy’s semi-final match against Tomas Berdych. In the final match, she laughed off the whole incident by sporting a “Parental Advisory – Explicit Content” T-shirt.
